There are now only two and a half weeks until The Bugs Group’s Holiday Camps return to Solihull and South Birmingham for May half-term and once again we have a range of fun sporting activities on offer for children to keep them entertained during Whitsun week!
With the UEFA Champions League Final being played on the 3rd of June, the theme of our camps is to make every child feel like a champion through football, dance or multisport activities! All of our camps cater for children aged 4-12 years.
Our FootieBugs football camp runs for boys and girls in Solihull and provides them with a range of fun football games and activities! Kids will play some of their favourite football games such as the crossbar challenge and will also do technique practices that will help develop their technical skills. The final day of the camp is competition day, where children will be put into teams and show off the skills they have learned during the week and will compete for prizes and trophies!
Our DanceBugs dance holiday camp also runs in Solihull and gives children the chance to explore creative movements and different dance styles. The dance camp will offer styles including; ballet, freestyle, street, jazz and many more, meaning kids can explore different moves they have never seen or tried before! At the end of the week, children will perform the routine they have created throughout the week to all parents and all will receive a certificate and rosette!
Finally, our MultiBugs camp runs near Harborne in South Birmingham and offers children over 30 different sports and games every week, meaning that everyday kids will be provided with new and fun activities! Some of the sports include children’s favourites such as Football, Athletics and Tennis, but also some other activities that they may not have had the chance to do before; such as Dodgeball or Basketball! Similarly to the FootieBugs holiday camp, the final day of the week will be a competition day, where again there are a number of prizes and trophies on offer for children!
The FootieBugs and DanceBugs camp are both running at the same venue, Light Hall School in Shirley, Solihull, while the MultiBugs camp will run at Four Dwellings Academy close to Harborne.
